how to make solar panels or windmills, low-cost home?

I've been looking to make solar panels at home for cheap. i just Electronic books are expensive, they tell you what to buy and how together. Is there something that someone somewhere free buying public and how to assemble Cheap solar panels? if not then windmills too much work, as long as I dont have to buy an electronic book or anything like that. maybe someone posted how make a blog somewhere. if you know where, please tell me the link. thanks!

My father made a solar heater in the following way, maybe you you can modify to suit? You will need foam insulation, 2 glass doors of the scrap yard, three cases the value of empty soda cans, black spray epoxy putty, hair hose, plywood the size of the patio doors, and a thermostatically controlled fan. Cut a hole in the wood of the same diameter the tube of the dryer. Sprinkle one side of the plywood black. Cut tops of soda cans, epoxy plywood. The cans should touch the sides and cover entirely of wood. Spray cans all black. Cut the insulation to make "faces" of a box, a little higher than soda cans on four sides plywood. Seal the patio doors to isolation "parties" after installing the thermostat on the patio doors. dryer hose inside implementation. Make sure to put it in direct sunlight. The way it works is that the sun heats the metal is sprayed through the glass. As soon as gets as hot as you set the thermostat, the fan begins to and hot air blows into the house to cool again. I know it sounds kind of crazy MacGuyver, but I kept my basement warm room as a teenager. Good luck!
